Ah, just another check off the official Sam Reading List, and your vain attempt to educate those of us who are still struggling to find reading material in this huge city that's completely devoid of journalistic endeavors. ;)
I think that we should email this blog to more people. I think it looks silly just having four names. So I am going to send it to my RW1 class.
Hmm. After reading this piece, particularly at 1:26 in the morning, I have to admit to being a bit disheartened about being here. It kind of reaffirms and rationalizes all my week one fears - that I shouldn't have come, that I'll pay too much and learn to little, that you need to dive into the profession rather than sit outside it pontificating about the work of other writers... I'm trying to reserve my opinions, or at least keep them quiet in my head, for September when I know more. Still, all I can say is, it better be worth it.

Y'all are administrators, which means you should be able to invite people to join the blog by going to the Settings page and then the Team Members page. Lemme know if it doesn't work.
les, don't despair. i've been working as a journalist for 3 years with no formal training, and don't recommend it. i learned more about mechanics in 3 weeks than all that time in the field-
